I want to help you guys in making ur PC work fast. There are some causes
who make your PC slower. some of the reasons are as under along with
the solution.
1. Low memory - Guys most of the times its due to the low RAM. you need to expand your RAM to speed up. You can check it up by right clicking on the taskbar >> start task manager. Then click on performance tab u will see how much memory is left for you to work on other applications and software. Just detect what type of memory you have is it DDR2, DDR3 and check its frequency too by some online small software you can find out using google. I recommend you to buy the same frequency and type of memory. If you buy higher frequency ram then your computer will treat the higher frequency equivalent to the lower frequency ram. If u want to install higher frequency ram then u need to remove low ferquency ram from your computer. This will speeden up ur PC.
2. Some of the services which slows your computer. click on taskbar and open task manager then click on services at the bottom u will find a button named services. Click on it a new window will open with number of services. Search for superfetch right click on it >>All tasks>> Stop. Then again right click on it and go to properties u need to disable it. You can also stop certain services like Windows Update. you will find that your computer speed is good now.
3. Many application running in the hidden menu of task bar. For this just click on start and put msconfig on search and then hit enter. A window will open. Go to startup tab and uncheck the applications which u want to disable. then apply the changes and restart your computer. Now u can see the computer speed is better.
4. Adwares and Malwares. Scan your pc for adwares and malwares. For malwares use malwarebytes you can download it from google.com. For removal of adwares you can use some adware removal tools like Adware removal tools by TSA.
5. Too much data in hardisk. Check the free space in your hardisk if its low then remove the unwanted programes (softwares) by going to control panel >> uninstall a program and then remove them. If you have too much unwanted data then remove it from your hardisk.
6. Temporary files. go to start then type run and hit enter you will get a dialog box just put %temp% in it and then hit enter. A window will open with number of temporary files in it. Just delete them all by selecting all (Ctrl+A) and then delete (shift+del). 2-3 files/folders will be left u can skip deleting them.
7. Browser history and other files. You need to delete the history and other data of your web browsers periodically to make free space and make your browser work faster.
8. Defragment of hardisk. open your computer and then right click on the drive and then properties under tools tab u will find a button for defragment now just click on it and let it defrag your drive. You can defrag all the drives you have.
9. If your computer is still slow then u need to reset/reinstall windows on your PC. Resetting or reinstalling your operating system will 100% make your PC work faster.
